Connect Valinor to Claude

Valinor has an MCP connector (Model Context Protocol) that lets an AI assistant such as Claude query your workspace data. You ask in plain language and the assistant answers from your business’s real numbers:

  • “How many open deals does each salesperson have?”
  • “How much did I invoice in August, and how much is still receivable?”
  • “What was the inn’s occupancy rate in March, by room category?”
  • “How many WhatsApp conversations went unanswered this week?”

The connector is read-only: the assistant can query, but it never creates, changes or deletes anything in Valinor.

  • A Valinor workspace with the modules whose data you want to query.
  • A role with the Criar conexões de IA (MCP) (create AI connections) permission. The Admin role already has it; for other roles, ask your workspace administrator (see Workspace and team).
  • A Claude account (claude.ai, Claude Desktop or Claude Code) or another client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth.

The assistant only sees what your own role can already see in Valinor. Someone who can’t see invoices in the app won’t see them through the AI either.

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Find Valinor in the connector directory and click Connect. Alternatively, use Add custom connector and enter the URL above.
  3. Claude opens Valinor’s screen. Sign in with your account (Google, Apple or email sign-in link).
  4. On the Conectar uma IA ao workspace (connect an AI to the workspace) screen, pick the workspace and the permissions (see Consent) and click Autorizar (authorize).
  5. Back in Claude, the connector shows as connected. Enable it in the conversation and ask your question.

A connection made on claude.ai also works in Claude Desktop, because connectors belong to your Claude account.

In the terminal, add the connector:

Terminal window
claude mcp add --transport http valinor https://valinorcrm.com/api/mcp

Then, inside Claude Code, run /mcp, choose valinor and complete the sign-in in the browser, as in steps 3 and 4 above.

Any client that supports a remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP with OAuth 2.1 authentication (dynamic client registration and PKCE) connects through the same URL. The client discovers the authorization server on its own from the connector’s response.

On the consent screen you decide what the assistant can read, module by module:

ModulePermissionWhat it opens
CRMcrm:readContacts, deals and tasks
Financefinance:readInvoices and payments
Hospitalityhospitality:readReservations and occupancy
Omnichannelomnichannel:readConversations: channel, status, agent and response time
Omnichannelomnichannel:messages:readMessage content

Only modules the workspace has and your role can see are listed. Message content starts unchecked: the assistant only reads conversation text if you check that option.

Each connection covers one workspace. To query another workspace, make another connection.

In Valinor, Configurações → Conexões de IA (settings → AI connections) shows:

  • active connections, with who connected, when and the permissions granted;
  • the call history: every query an assistant made, with the tool used and when.

To cut off an assistant, click Revogar conexão (revoke connection). From then on the connection no longer renews, and the credential the assistant already holds expires within 15 minutes. To use it again, connect again. You can also remove the connector in Claude’s settings.
